A true crime content creator whose accounts reach more than 50,000 followers has been charged with felony unlawful wiretapping. Shawna Gramkow was charged on Oct. 20 in connection with a Sept. 4 incident involving Christopher Clancy, father of Patrick Clancy, according to an incident report obtained by Fox News Digital.

Police say the case centers on a video Gramkow posted to Instagram on Aug. 30. That video showed a caller reaching a phone number that Lindsay Clancy's attorney, Kevin Reddington, had read aloud during the murder trial. In the video, Gramkow said Patrick Clancy's father was still on the line and did not realize the call remained connected. A detective reported that an adult male voice could be heard speaking, though the words were unintelligible.

Christopher Clancy reported the matter to law enforcement on Sept. 4. He told investigators that on Aug. 6, while driving in the Town of Scituate, he received a call from an unrecognized number and believes he answered it by mistake. According to the incident report, the caller recorded his comments without his knowledge or consent, and he recognized parts of the conversation as concerning his eldest son, Brian. Police allege the recording was then posted to Instagram. Massachusetts officials have charged Gramkow; officials in Florida confirmed she has not been arrested.

Gramkow has not addressed the charge directly. In a Facebook video, she said the "allegations are false. And easy to prove." She also wrote, "And yes I got all the 'Dirty Deets.'" Fox News Digital reached out to her for comment.

The charge arrives as Patrick and Lindsay Clancy pursue separate lawsuits against her medical providers, and their legal strategies appear to differ. At a hearing Wednesday in Norfolk County Superior Court, attorney Howard Cooper said he expects Lindsay Clancy to testify in the suit Patrick Clancy filed against her healthcare providers. "We believe that Lindsay Clancy, once her Fifth Amendment issues are resolved one way or the other, will testify that she told these defendants explicitly that she had homicidal ideation, that she was worried about something awful happening to her kids," Cooper said in court.

Reddington, who represents Lindsay Clancy, disputed that account. He said his client has never stated she would testify and never told providers she had homicidal thoughts toward her children. "Mr. Clancy's counsel does not speak for Lindsay Clancy," Reddington said. Lindsay Clancy faced three counts of first-degree murder in the January 2023 deaths of her children, found strangled at the family home. Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial on Sept. 4 after jurors split 11-1.
