Three Kansas City-based companies have been selected to join a new cohort focused on sports and wellness technology. The group includes EB Systems, Myndset, and Duesy. They will participate in a weeklong pilot program that begins in mid-November.

The initiative, named the Sports & Wellness Tech Scale Up pilot, is a joint effort led by Endeavor Heartland and Keystone Community Corporation. It is the first iteration of the program. The cohort comprises six companies in total. In addition to the three local firms, the group includes WVN from Nashville, Tennessee; Headquarters Health from San Francisco; and Ballin AI from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The program targets founders working in specific sectors. These include sports technology, athlete performance, wellness, fan engagement, and venue innovation. The primary goal is to help high-growth companies bring new technologies to market more quickly.

Craig Moore, senior manager of entrepreneur experience at Endeavor Heartland, stated that the program is designed to tailor the experience to the specific needs and growth opportunities of each company. He noted that the event provides an opportunity for attendees to discover emerging technologies. The program also aims to connect founders with the people and organizations that can help move their businesses forward.

Moore highlighted that Kansas City possesses a strong entrepreneurial community and a growing sports ecosystem. He expressed excitement about helping these companies build meaningful relationships and explore new partnerships. The goal is to create opportunities for long-term growth.

The pilot program is scheduled to debut on Nov. 9 in Kansas City. It will conclude on Nov. 12 with a demo day. This final event will take place at the College Basketball Experience near T-Mobile Center. Participating founders will use this venue to showcase their companies and share their visions for growth.

The demo day is designed to connect founders with investors, industry leaders, and members of the regional entrepreneurial community. The partnership between Endeavor Heartland and Keystone Community Corporation aims to give participating founders a foothold in the region’s growing sports and wellness industry.

Endeavor Heartland is part of Endeavor, a global organization based in Bentonville, Arkansas. This entity supports high-impact entrepreneurs in scaling their businesses and driving economic growth. The local office is headquartered from within Keystone CoLab in Kansas City.

The local office serves founders across five states: Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. It provides mentorship, strategic connections, and access to capital. The selected companies represent a mix of local and regional interests in the sports and wellness sector.
