Shoppers can buy Soundcore Space 2 noise-canceling headphones for $106.49 starting October 23. This price represents a $23 drop from the previous listing and is the lowest cost for this specific model to date. The discount applies to Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. All three available color options are included in the sale.

The Space 2 serves as the successor to the Space One. John Higgins of The Verge identified the original Space One as a top budget option in 2023. The newer model retains the core features of its predecessor while offering improvements. The standard list price for the Space 2 is $30 higher than that of the Space One. The current sale price narrows that gap for consumers.

Active noise cancellation provides the most distinct upgrade in the new hardware. The Space 2 suppresses low-frequency sounds more effectively than the original. These sounds include engine noise from trains and airplanes. Soundcore also modified the internal design to produce more accurate audio output compared to the earlier version.

Several value-driven features from the original lineup remain in the Space 2. The headphones support high-resolution LDAC audio. They also include the HearID 3.0 tool. This feature personalizes the sound profile by analyzing a listener's response to a series of audio samples. The headphones then adjust the output based on those specific responses.

Battery life has increased in the newer model. With active noise cancellation enabled, the Space 2 runs for up to 50 hours. The previous model offered 40 hours under the same conditions. Without noise cancellation, the battery lasts up to 70 hours, compared to 55 hours on the original. A 3.5mm jack allows for wired use if the battery depletes. The device also pauses playback automatically when the user removes the headphones.

The Verge describes the Space 2 as an easy recommendation. The publication cites the stronger noise cancellation and improved sound quality as key reasons. At $106.49, the price point is $30 above the original launch cost of the Space One.
